The Conference will include the following sessions:

  • Role of Nuclear Safety in the Nuclear Export after Fukushima;

  • CTBT: Increasing Its Monitoring Capability and Making the Treaty Operational;

  • The Conference on the Establishment of a Zone Free of Nuclear and All Other Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Middle East: Developing the Agenda;

  • Multilateralizing Nuclear Disarmament: Possible Steps;

  • Future of IAEA Safeguards and the State-Level Concept;

  • How to Make the 2015 NPT Review Conference a Success?

Since the Conference will take place just a few days before a new, extended deadline, for P5+1 talks with Iran, it will be one of the core issues of the Moscow Conference. We expect that a diverse group of Iranian scholars, scientists, and officials will take part in the meeting.
