Travel and Accommodation

Travel

The Organizers do not provide to Conference participants financial assistance for travel to and accommodation in Moscow. To be able to take part in all Conference events, we recommend that participants choose flights that arrive in Moscow no later than 2 pm on October 19, and depart no earlier than 8 pm on October 21.

Visa

The organizers will provide visa support for registered foreign participants if necessary. Visa fees will be waived by the Russian Foreign Ministry, a partner of the Conference.

Accommodation

To make a booking at the Marriott Grand Hotel please contact Reservation Department of the hotel at reservation@marriott-moscow.ru (copy to: konukhov@ceness-russia.org), or dial +7-495-937-0055 to make a booking.

Local transportation

We recommend flights arriving to and departing from Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO) to make the transfer to and from Marriott Grand Hotel as easy as possible, should you choose to stay there. You will be able to make use of the Aeroexpress train service (every 30 minutes) between the airport and the Belorusskiy railway station. By taking the train, you will avoid Moscow's unpredictable heavy traffic (a journey by car can take 2+ hours) and arrive at the Belorusskiy station in just 35 minutes.

Weather permitting, you can take a walk from Belorusskiy station to the hotel, which is only about a mile away. Alternatively, you can take the metro from the Belorusskiy subway station to Tverskaya station (two stops); Tverskaya station is a 5-min walk from the hotel.

Should you choose a flight arriving at Vnukovo or Domodedovo airports, we recommend using an official taxi service.
