Mr. Shilin graduated from MGIMO
(Moscow State Institute for International Relations) in 1996. In 1997-2000 worked
for the Russian Embassy in India.
In 2000-2007 he was served for the MFA Department for Disarmament &
International Security. Dr. Shilin primary scientific focus is on regional
challenges to the global non-proliferation challenges, nuclear and strategic
balance in Asia, war scenarios. He is the author of 50+
publications, i.e.: ‘Strategic Balance in South Asia' (2004), ‘Kashmir
Conflict' (2001), ‘Armed Forces of Pakistan and its Dependence on Arms Import'
(2001).
