GUSTAFSSON Åsa, Deputy Director, Department for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Sweden Ms. Åsa Pernilla Gustafsson received her Master's degree of Laws, from Uppsala University, Sweden in 1993. She studied political science in Université de Genève, Switzerland in 1994-1995. From 1997 she started to work in Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Among other appointments she served in Middle East and North Africa Department (2000-2001), Swedish Embassy/UN Delegation in Vienna, Austria (2001-2006), Department for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (2006). In 2007-2008 Ms. Gustafsson served as Representative of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in the Parliamentary Committee for Radiation Safety. Since 2009 she also acts as a Representative of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in the Parliamentary Committee on Nuclear Safety and Security Legislation. During the Swedish EU Presidency in July-December 2009 she was a Chairperson of the EU Working Group on Non-Proliferation. Report Record
