Cindy VESTERGAARD, Senior Researcher, Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS), Denmark Expert on the global governance of natural uranium, with a particular emphasis on international and regional regimes such as those specific to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials (ABACC). Previous to joining DIIS, Dr. Vestergaard worked on non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament policy and programming at Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. She has a Doctor's degree and is a regular contributor to media outlets and lectures nationally and internationally on weapons of mass destruction, proliferation and disarmament issues. Report
