From 2005 to 2006 he was a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies of the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. Since 1998 to 2000 he was a Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of International and Area Studies at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul, South Korea). Author of more than 150 scientific publications. On a regular basis in the frame of expert meetings visits North Korea as a member of CENESS delegations. Doctor of Historical Sciences. Graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Asian Studies of Osaka University of Economics and Law in Japan. Record
